1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values that a website can store in your browser and receive with later requests. Local storage also saves information in your browser, but it is not automatically attached to each request. Qaria currently uses local storage to remember quiz progress and offer history.
Qaria uses a first-party cookie to associate your browser with its Stripe checkout, plus session storage to safely retry a checkout request. Meta Pixel loads automatically on our production website for advertising measurement. Stripe may use its own cookies and similar technologies for payment functionality and fraud prevention when the payment form loads.
2. What Qaria stores
The Qaria entries below are created on this website’s own origin for quiz and checkout functionality. Meta may also set advertising cookies such as _fbp and _fbc (typically up to 90 days) to associate visits and conversions with ads. Meta controls its own cookie behavior.
- qaria-meta-event:* — session storage recording conversion events already queued for Meta, to avoid reporting duplicate leads or payments in the same tab. Duration: the browser tab session. These markers contain no quiz answers or email addresses.
- qaria_stripe_checkout — an HttpOnly, first-party cookie holding the checkout-session reference. Purpose: verifying payment status for the browser that opened checkout. Duration: 30 days; replaced by the next checkout session.
- qaria-stripe-attempt:* — session storage containing a random request identifier per plan/offer. Purpose: retrying the same checkout without creating duplicate sessions. Duration: the browser tab session; replaced if checkout expires.
- qaria-funnel — browser local storage used for quiz answers, saved email, plan selection, discount-offer status, and the countdown end time. Purpose: remembering your progress and choices. Duration: no automatic expiry; retained until cleared, overwritten, or removed by the browser.
- qaria-offer-seen — browser local storage recording that a discount offer has already been shown. Purpose: avoiding repeated presentation of the same offer. Duration: no automatic expiry; retained until cleared or removed by the browser.
3. Managing browser storage
To remove Qaria’s saved data, open your browser’s privacy or site settings, find this website, and clear its cookies and site data. Choose site data or local storage as well as cookies: deleting cookies alone may leave quiz progress in place.
You can block storage in your browser or use a private browsing session. The website may no longer remember your answers, selected plan, countdown, or whether an offer has been shown. Clearing data in one browser does not clear it on your other devices.
Use your browser’s site-data controls to remove quiz progress, offer history, and checkout storage. Clearing these entries does not cancel a paid subscription. Browser deletion does not delete information already submitted to the server; the Privacy Policy explains how to request that.
4. Analytics and advertising choices
Meta advertising measurement starts automatically on the production website without a cookie acceptance prompt. To manage tracking, use your browser’s tracking-protection settings and Meta’s advertising and privacy controls. Your browser may block Meta requests. Use your browser’s site-data controls to delete cookies already stored; clearing storage alone does not prevent new cookies when you revisit. Quiz and payment functionality do not depend on Meta loading.
External websites you choose to visit can use their own cookies and storage. Their policies and controls apply to those websites.
5. Updates and questions
The date above identifies the latest update to this policy. Contact Qaria if you have questions about browser storage or need help managing your saved data.
